But how do you pitch for a feature film, or for a VR video game? How difficult is the process and how different is it from the usual system? In the workshop’s first pitching session “based on a true story”, presented by Initiative Film, five books with strong potential for film / VR project adaptation will be presented giving valuable insights into the world of films and games, and how to create new business opportunities. Selected books include "From Beirut to Brandenburg - Dr. Ballouz' Journey" by Amin Ballouz and "The Invisible Difference" by Julie Dachez & Mademoiselle Caroline. In the second pitching session 5 case studies from the Kids & YA sector will be presented.
Following each of the pitching sessions there will be an opportunity for the rights holders and film producers to get together to discuss which books might possibly end up on the big screen.
