Networking and the promotion of international exchange are important to the Frankfurt Book Fair.
For this reason, the Book Fair organises numerous events and programmes worldwide jointly with various cooperation partners. These events and programmes are aimed at almost all target groups, including the young professionals of this branch.
International book trade trip to the Book Fair in Buenos Aires in April 2009
Argentina will be Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2010. Expectations are already running high within the publishing industry.
The trade trip will provide many different opportunities to set up new contacts or reinforce those already in place.
The trade trip is being organised by the Frankfurt Book Fair in cooperation with the Argentinian book industry.

BookExpo America, the largest publishing trade show in North America, is back in New York City 2009. With the biggest American university presses attending the show, nonfiction will continue to dominate sales of rights and licenses
