With funding from the Federal Foreign Office, the Frankfurt Book Fair operates information offices in important and interesting foreign markets.
The Book Information Centres in Moscow and Beijing, and the German Book Offices (GBO) in New York and New Delhi apply indepth knowledge and commitment to the promotion of exchange between the German book market and that of their respective host country.
With a wide range of activities, the Book Information Centres and the German Book Offices encourage existing interest in German books and in so doing, promote rights & licence sales and book exports:
The Book Information Centres and the German Book Offices receive funding from the Federal Foreign Office and the Goethe-Institut.
Every year, the Frankfurt Book Fair puts together a number of book collections on different topical subjects.
The standard collections include children’s books, new literary releases and a selection of the best German book designs.
