We can't wait for New Zealand - New Zealand can't wait for us!

On a press trip, through interviews, our own personal impressions: whichever way it happened, New Zealand has caught our imaginations; curiosity is growing. In May, ten German journalists were in New Zealand. Among the items on their itinerary was a visit to the prestigious Writers & Readers Festival in Auckland. The short intro film for the Festival shows us once again the inimitable style of the New Zealanders, which we've had the pleasure of witnessing once already in their film for the Guest of Honour appearance. It really is beautiful!

Director of the Frankfurt Book Fair, Juergen Boos, has been speaking to representatives of New Zealand's media.

In this podcast you can listen to his interview with the broadcaster Radio New Zealand.

The Dominian Post also spoke to Juergen Boos, and you can read what they said here.

Doing a lot with a little

Kevin Chapman, President of the Publishers Association New Zealand thinks about time. Time that was possibly short, for New Zealand had just over a year to prepare as Guest of Honour for Frankfurt 2012. Kevin Chapman reports on progress. And fortunately comes to the conclusion: it'll all work out!
