The ADIBF is the central platform for interchange between the Arab and the international book industry. In this role, it has secured its status of benchmark fair for the region. The ADIBF is the Middle East’s only bilingual (English-Arabic) trade and consumer public fair. In 2009, altogether 637 exhibitors from 52 countries introduced themselves here. Exhibition area had increased by 14 per cent over the previous year.

Trade visitors are provided here with a central fair that enables them to set up business contacts in the Arab and international world. The ADIBF provides the international publishing industry with a professionally organised business platform. You can meet all relevant publishers from the Arab and Islamic region. The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair attracts a large number of trade visitors, the interest in international contacts is growing steadily. The Spotlight on Rights promotion programme for rights and licences provides important momentum for the region’s rights and licence trade. Since 2008, only publishing companies that observe copyright are admitted for participation at the fair.

The ADIBF has a Business Centre for trade visitors as well as a Press Centre - there is a considerable international media presence. Your entry in the English-Arabic catalogue plus exhibitor profile secures you competent contacts.
