The Forum STM & Specialist Information in Hall 4.2 (STM, Academic Publishing & Specialist Information) and the stage in Hall 8 (the English-speaking world) are central event spaces organised by theme and geared toward a broader audience. An ideal platform for discussions and talks or attention getting product launches. Presentation slots on the stages are reserved for exhibitors of the Frankfurt Book Fair.

The Hot Spots are a perfect stage for your innovations, products and services.
The Hot Spot stages are small event stages located within each Hot Spot. The perfect platform for you to present your business or product!
Presentation slots on the Hot Spot stages are reserved for exhibitors of the Frankfurt Book Fair. Booking a Hot Spot stand entitles you to one slot "for free".
Information on the Hot Spots
Every year, the Frankfurt Book Fair invites teachers, day-nursery carers and lifelong learners to a two-day specialist conference.
The focus 2012 attracted around 160 people. The conference programme covers new topics every year and is held in German language.
The historical reading tent out in the open grounds at Frankfurt Book Fair is the meeting place for fans of reading and literature.
The reading tent is organized by Börsenverein des deutschen Buchhandels.
On trade visitor days, publishers can hire the Reading Marquee by the hour for book presentations, receptions or press conferences. On the general public days, the venue hosts non-stop readings for visitors of all age groups.
The participating authors are determined via a selection process.
Trade visitor days (Wed.-Fri.): € 710.- per hour
General public days (Sat. and Sun.): € 175.- per author

The Calendar of Events 2012 featured the astounding number of more than 3200 events!
Registering your events is free of charge.
As a registered exhibitor you may then enter events directly in the Calendar of Events on your "My Book Fair" page after login.
Alternatively, please send your events as an Excel- or Word-document to calendar@book-fair.com (Anja Gronkowski).
The registration for your events is possible as of summer 2013.
The 10,000-square-metre-space between the Forum and Halls 3,4 and 5 is the heart of the Frankfurt Book Fair.
All roads lead through the Agora at the Book Fair, and every visitor makes a stop here at some point - whether it's to get some fresh air, to eat, shop or have a chat...
Staring this year, we're offering the opportunity to host large-scale events at the Book Fair's most central locations:
