I graduated from Buenos Aires University in anthropology and have been a teacher in this field for the past 3 years. I am currently preparing for my PhD thesis based on the publishing industry in Argentina.

I have been working as a publisher for ten years at Editorial Biblos, an independent publishing house founded 30 years ago. At Biblos I am responsible for the editorial part (liaising with authors and editors, choosing titles to be published, checking content) as well as marketing and sales. I am also part of the Cámara del Libro de Argentina (CAL) where I am developing institutional activity as a member of its council.

I am currently in charge of the non-fiction section, especially social sciences, where I have developed a number of series related to anthropology, sociology, history and education. Our current catalogue includes more than 800 books by Argentinian and Latin American authors as well as numerous translations. Through our books and by carefully selecting our authors, we aim to show the complex social, political, economical and cultural development of the last decades on the South American ontinent.
