Some highlights in 2016

A hub for business in the cultural und creative industries, THE ARTS+ will take place for the first time this year – a fair of its own within Frankfurt Book Fair. The area in Hall 4.1 offers exhibition space, a salon for exclusive talks, a lab for interactive formats, a catwalk-stage for presentations and performances. Kick-off event will be THE ARTS+ conference on 19 October.

  • Conferences and industry dialogue
In addition to its role as the world’s largest trade fair for content, the Frankfurt Book Fair is also an important platform for the future of the publishing and media industry. High-level conferences such as THE MARKETS and the INTERNATIONAL RIGHTS DIRECTORS MEETING round off the opportunities for advanced professional training offered by the various stages and events.

  • Business networking
Since 2014, creative visionaries and key economic players from the media industry have been meeting at the Frankfurt Book Fair’s Business Club. With its programme, the Business Club serves as a central meeting point. In addition to making it easier to make new business contacts and appointments, it above all highlights the international character of its speakers and participants, who come from more than 48 countries.
